The rating, ranging from A+ to E-, is founded upon the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) methodology developed by ADEME: it takes into account not only the hotel's direct consumptions, but also everything occurring upstream and downstream, from the manufacture of the products used to their end of life. Four indicators structure the scoring: greenhouse gas emissions, water consumption, depletion of energy resources and the proportion of organic and ecolabelled products.

The control of heating and air-conditioning, managed by the A-Grid system, completes these measures by adjusting requirements in real time.
An awareness that permeates even into the guest rooms
Beyond the fittings, the hotel places its faith in education: in the bathrooms and bedrooms, notices encourage guests to adopt the proper habits — switching off the light when leaving, not letting the water run, reporting a technical issue or limiting the replacement of towels.
